ANOTHER FUN SIGNING AT CARSONS

This is from wrestlingfigs.com

Georgie,

5/4/07 I'd like to thank K&S WrestleFest Promotions for bringing in Scott Norton and Van Hammer to Carson's Wrestling World store in Allentown recently. They also brought Traci Brooks to Bud's store a few weeks before that. Their signings are run in an orderly fashion, giving each fan a chance to meet and greet their favorite wrestling superstars at an affordable price. Later that same afternoon, Eric Simms of ESS Promotions brought David Sammartino to the store for an equally fan-friendly experience. Thanks to both K&S and ESS for their continued dedication to the wrestling fans. When time permits, I may also be forwarding photos from the recent wrestling convention in Carteret, NJ.

Best always,

Eric Shaffer

WRESTLING CLOTHESLINE SUPPORTS TRACI AND K&S

4/3/07 On Saturday, March 31st, K and S Promotions held their latest "Meet and Greet" in Allentown, PA when they brought in TNA Knockout, "Miss" Traci Brooks. Due to the fact that they were also scheduled to bring Miss Brooks to the Deer Park Community Center the same evening, the Clothesline "Crew" decided to gather and come out to show our support for K and S, and moreso for Traci. The "Crew" (and extended "Crew") this evening consisted of (among others) myself, Frank, Joseph Velez, Dan The Mark, Jay, and newly crowned honorary "Crew" member, Mike Geldmacher (who has Abyss coming to the Deer Park Community Center on April 29th. Check out squaredcirclesignings.com for more info!). Last time I saw Traci, live and in living color, was in 2003, when she threw her shoes to me at ringside, so she could easily navigate around the ring during a CSWF match in NJ. (For those of you wondering, she took the shoes back after the match!) Traci wrestled Amber on the show that evening. (A fact no one would have known unless they really investigated it as her opponent was never advertised in advance for some strange reason). Traci was over with the crowd and was victorious, scoring the pinfall after hitting Amber with a lariat. After her match, Traci was available for polaroids in the ring. A huge line formed for the opportunity to step into the ring, spend a mere $10, and get a photo with the knockout. Following intermission, Traci made herself available to the fans, signing polaroids for those fans who purchased them and talking to those who came out to see her after a four year absence. She then made her way to the K and S Promotions table to continue meeting (or posing for photos) with those fans who wished. Traci pretty much spent the remainder of the show, at the K and S table for her fans. K and S Promotions definately outdid themselves, bringing in Traci Brooks, for this event. Both Traci and K and S were extremely accomadating for the fans (even those that were a little to close to being stalkerish). Hopefully, they will be able to continue to bring in wrestling stars, of the past and present, to other events on Long Island. K and S Promotions returns to Allentown, PA on April 21st with Scott Norton. Then, on June 2nd, they have the Godfather appearing at Wrestling Reunion V in NJ.

MISSY HYATT ENJOYED HER DAY AT UWF RINGSIDE REUNION

2/19/07 I started using your web site over the last few months. I always checked the upcoming autograph signing dates to see if my appearances were legit. Over the last few years I was advertised by promoters for conventions and autograph signings. I usually accepted the booking, since I enjoy meeting wrestlers and fans that I have not seen in awhile. Unfortunantly the bulk of those bookings would get cancelled. Just like any fan who looks forward in attending, I would be also dissapointed. I grew to be very sceptical when promoters would inquire to book me [I try to have a second party do most of the negotiating for me]. Since most of them are going to advertise me and than cancel without ever calling me. I would have to find out about the booking being cancelled on the net. This past Saturday I did a signing at Bud Carson's Wrestling Store in conjunction with K & S wrestling. I had one of the best times in wrestling in years. I took the booking more to see old time friends than to be just another payday. I saw fans that I have not seen in years. Everybody was awesome. I was so happy that every wrestler advertised showed up. This was important to me on a personal perspective. I saw John tatum who I have not seen in 20 years. We caught up on life after wrestling, our family lives, our wrestling days, and more. I would have never recognized Johnny in a million years. He looked more like a distinguised college professor than the "Hollywood" John Tatum I remember him as. I saw Steve Williams who I have not seen in 8 years. I'm glad he survived his chemo. Steve is a great person and still has knowledge to contribute in the wrestling industry. He wrestled 15 matches with a hole in his throat from the cancer and voice box. I bet he can still stretch most of today's jabronies. Buddy Roberts I barely recognized. He also survived throat cancer. Buddy caught me up on his wife [great lady] and his kids. Buddy is still funny and very genuine. I was so happy to see the fans. One fan told me how he just had heart surgery last year. Another fan just came back from Iraq. I'm still a fan at heart. I even stayed at Bud Carson's store for almost a hour after the signing. I saw some of the best collectibles ever. I even traded my bra and underwear for some of it. It was great merchandise damn it! Too bad there is no Missy figure for me to buy at his store. Hey Bud, get me a custom made Missy figure. Ken & Steve are a class act. They kept the autograph signing organzized. It was so stress free. I was able to interact with the fans. It wasn't one of those "here's your autograph, next" type signings. I never found those signings fun by the way. No matter what anybody in the industry thinks about me. I always busted my ass at autograph signings. I would be nothing without the fans. Whatever entertainment value I ever gave them was the highlight of my life. I was so touched by how nice the promoters and the fans were to me. Call me sappy, but it made me proud to be able to still consider myself part of the wrestling industry. Let me throw out a quick plug for myself at www.missyhyatt.net. The site got tons of pics of myself, reality video, and more. You won't be disappointed. Also stop by Bud Carson's wrestling store. He got my bra and underwear for sale [I won't mention what wrestling merchandise I traded it for] and more. K & S wrestling rule. I ejoyed myself at the last two signings I did for them. I can be reached at missyhyatt@hotmail.com and don't forget www.missyhyatt.net.

AUTOGRAPH SIGNING IN ALLENTOWN ANOTHER SUCCESS

This is from www.wrestlingfigs.com

2/19/07 Hi Georgie....... I never write in about anything, but I had to write to you about this autograph session. Yesterday I visited Bud Carson's Pro Wrestling World in Allentown PA for an autograph session arranged by Ken & Steve of K & S Wrestlefest Promotions. The guests were Dr Death Steve Williams, Freebird Buddy Roberts, Hollywood John Tatum and Missy Hyatt. First let me say if you have never visited Bud in his store, the trip is well worth it. Bud has put together such a great collection of wrestling memorabilia that he should really call his store Pro Wrestling World & Museum. Along with the usual items such as magazines & figures, Bud has a number of one-of-a-kind items, some for sale and some for display. Autographed wrestling belts, along with ring worn boots, trunks, hats and more are displayed throughout the roomy store. One could easily spend a day just browsing through Bud's collection of wrestling gems. Now on to the "back room" where a ring is set up. Ken & Steve do things the right way and make it very simple. As each person arrives, Steve lists your name on a pad. Your name is called in the order you arrived. When you are called, Steve escorts you into the ring where Ken is waiting to assist you with your autograph and photo requests. It was a very easy going and pressure free event. I spent a few hours there and I never heard Ken or Steve say "no" to anyone regarding any special requests. All four guests were super nice. I have to say that Bud Carson along with Ken & Steve are first class all the way. I would highly recommend attending any of their events in the future.

Your friend, John Pantozzi (Mr. Wrestling)
